Nuttall Smiles consists of a very close-knit group of employees with great team chemistry. Our professional staff works together to ensure the highest quality dental service for all of our patients. Nuttall Smiles has now been practicing for over 16 years, and we continually meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.
Dr. Kent Nuttall, Dentist
Dr. Kent Nuttall is a different kind of dentist. His use of advanced dental technology combined with a gentle style will make you and your family more comfortable than you ever thought possible. Dr. Nuttall established his practice here in the Auburn area in 1997. He continues to attend advanced continuing education courses, concentrating on cosmetic restorations, root canal therapy, implants and concious sedation. Yet, despite his extensive focus on clinical dentistry, Dr. Nuttall takes the time to get to know each and every patient one on one, helping his patients to make informed choices about their dental health. Dr Nuttall is a Washington native and a doctoral graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 1995. He and his wife, Pam are very active with their family of seven children and recently one grandson. He also works with youth through YMCA, scouting, and as a soccer coach. Dr. Lester Richins, Dentist
Dr Lester Richins has been practicing dentistry for over 16 years. He utilizes the latest technology in clinical dentistry to make sure his patients are comfortable and recieve the best dental care possible. He and his beautiful wife Teresa have been married for 33 years, and have 8 children and 8 wonderful grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, back packing and time with his family. Dr Richins is a native of Idaho and recieved his doctoral degree at oregon Health Sciences university School of Dentistry.
Dr. Jared Lothyan, Pediatric Dentist
Dr Jared, also known as “The Kid’s Dentist”. With his kid-oriented style and fun personality, he gets children excited about their dental care, helping them to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Each year, Dr Jared continues to study pediatric dentistry, especially in the areas of child behavior management and advanced restorative techniques. But most importantly, he takes the time to get to know each child personally, communicating with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles. Born and raised in Washington, Dr Jared enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, daughter, and two sons. They spend their free time together fishing, waterskiing, and camping. In addition, Dr Jared is active as a leader in Boy Scouts and a volunterr in our local communitee.
Carrie, Restorative Dental Hygienist
Carrie has been in the dental field for nearly eight years. While shi is not working, she is a happily married mom of two children, one boy and one girl. In her quiet time, she enjoys reading best-selling fiction and often thinks about running- but seldom gets the chance to. Carrie very much enjoys being a hygienist, but has also considered a career as a personal shopper. We think she would be great, but are glad to have her on our team!
Val, Restorative Dental Hygienist
Valerie has enjoyed working in the dental industry as an assistant and now as a hygienist. She has been married for 25 years, has three teenagers, and two dogs. She enjoys living in Bonney Lake and helping out with the community. When not at work she loves Zumba, traveling, and Sushi.
Pam, Office Manager
Pam brings accounting and management experience to Nuttall Smiles from owning her own business. While not overseeing the daily operations of Nuttall Smiles, Pam enjoys spending time with her large family, game nights, back packing, skiing, and soccer. She also enjoys being part of the volunteer community.
Gertie, Patient Coordinator
Gertie has been in the dental industry for nearly 22 years. She spends time out of the office with her husband of 19 years and their two teenage daughters. While she has lived in Sumner since childhood, she enjoys new experiences and traveling to exotic places; time spent at home is watching her girls play soccer. When not at work or with family, Gertie gives her time and talents to another passion of hers: finding a cure for breast cancer.
Cindy, Financial Coordinator
Cindy has over 20 years of experience and enjoys working with the patients. A recent empty nester after raising three boys, Cindy enjoys reading, shopping, and traveling to fun places with her husband of 29 years.
Jacki, Schedule Coordinator
Jackie has been in the field of dentistry for over 10 years. When not working in the office she is happily mothering 3 fantastic children. In her very rare moments of free time she enjoys cooking, skiing, and volunteering with her children’s many extra curricular activities.
Gina, Dental Assistant
Gina has been in the dental industry for six years. She loves working with people and helping with their dental fears. Gina has been married for ten years and has two beautiful girls. She enjoys spending time with her family, singing, and anything outdoors in the sunshine.
Marti, Dental Assistant
Marti has been in the field of dentistry for over 20 years. When not working in the office she is happily married and the mother of 5 fantastic children. In her very rare moments of free time she enjoys cooking, reading and taking off with her husband to go exploring.
